One of the most romantic and intimate ways to explore the sun-kissed Greek Islands is with wind in your hair onboard a majestic sailing ship and to inspire Australians to experience that unique freedom, Australian small ship cruise specialist, Cruise Traveller, has released a new package that will see guests visit iconic Greek islands aboard the famous, masted ship, Star Clipper.

The 18-night package in the northern summer of 2025 will see lovers of tradition, luxury and nautical romance sail across the Aegean aboard the renowned 166-guest Star Clipper, with Cruise Traveller offering earlybird savings from A$1860 per person, twin-share, plus four nights of free accommodation in Athens for bookings made by September 30, 2024.

Cruise Traveller’s new ‘Stars of Greece and Turkey’ sail and stay package is a destination-rich adventure with a choice of two departure dates – July 22 or August 12, 2025. Guests then board the four-masted Star Clipper in Athens for a 14-night voyage round-trip from Athens embracing 10 destinations in Greece and Turkey.

The journey – as much of it by sail as possible - comprises two back-to-back cruises taking in a glittering thread of islands and ports including the iconic islands of Mykonos, Santorini and Rhodes as well as other sunny beach isles like Amorgos, Patmos, Spetses and Hydra plus Bodrum and Kusadasi n Turkey with guests able to explore the famous, ancient ruins of Ephesus, once the commercial centre of the Mediterranean as part of the Roman Empire.

Reflecting the heritage of the golden era of sailing ships, the graceful, four-masted Star Clipper melds the luxuries of today with the traditions of the past, with its giant, billowing sails, gleaming mahogany, polished brasswork, sweeping teak decks, two pools, restaurant, chill-time bars, Edwardian library, gourmet cuisine, friendly crew and an onboard ambience that is relaxed, casually elegant and free of crowds or queues.

The cruise ends back in Athens.
