Antara River Cruises proudly announces the imminent launch of its two latest vessels, MV Mahanadi and MV Bhitarkanika of the Antara Catamarans fleet. These state-of-the-art, sustainably constructed vessels are designed to traverse the magnificent Bhitarkanika mangrove wetland in Odisha, encompassing a vast area of 672 sqkm in the estuarine region of the Brahmani – Baitarani River systems and their tributaries. 

Guests will have the unparalleled opportunity to leisurely navigate through this wildlife sanctuary, observing the abundant flora and fauna, intricate creeks, mudflats, the illustrious Sundari tree, the formidable saltwater crocodile, and over 320 species of birds. The itineraries for the MV Mahanadi and MV Bhitarkanika, offering three-night/four-day voyages, namely ‘Amazon of the East’ and ‘Cruising in Bhitarkanika’, promise an unparalleled experience for nature enthusiasts seeking a captivating adventure.
