The family-owned Scandinavian expeditions cruise operator, Albatros Expeditions is truly excited to introduce its newest next-generation vessel, the Ocean Albatros, to its fleet set to kick off its inaugural expedition cruise adventure into the Arctic this June.

In addition to the 94 comfortable sea-facing staterooms, lecture lounges, two restaurants, wellness amenities (jacuzzies and sauna), multiple bars, and open deck dining facility, Ocean Albatros has been built to the highest Ice Class 1A, Polar Code 6 compliance. It features a Safe Return to Port, Dynamic Positioning and Zero Speed Stabilizers, showcasing the X-Bow® by Norwegian Ulstein Design - all to increase onboard passenger comfort in head seas, enhancing stability and vessel performance whilst taking our guests safely and in comfort, to the foremost remote regions of the World.

Departing on June 15, 2023, from Longyearbyen, the vessel's maiden voyage will take guests on an 8-day/ 7-night expedition cruise to the stunning Arctic landscapes of Svalbard. With a team of expert guides and naturalists, guests can explore the World's most remote and beautiful destinations and wildlife in comfort, style and safety.
