Hurtigruten delays inaugural season of new Roald Amundsen

Hurtigruten has delayed the launch of its new expedition cruise ship, the Roald Amundsen, until 2019.

According to Hurtigruten, the shipyard where the vessel is currently under construction, Kleven yard, has said that it will need more time to complete the vessel and will not be able to deliver it on schedule “due to the complexity of the project.” 

The vessel had been originally slated for delivery this year, 2018.
