Departing Praia on 23 April 2015, Silver Explorer guests are in for the trip of a lifetime as they embark on a journey to discover awe-inspiring sights and exhilarating adventures. Silver Explorer's first port of call is Mindelo, a volcanic cluster of islands, home to a stunning deep-water harbour and colourful colonial Spanish architecture.

Guests spend the next two days at sea, enjoying the luxurious amenities of Silver Explorer, from personalised butler service to lavish day spa treatments. Journeying to Western Sahara, guests are treated to uninterrupted panoramic ocean views, with glimpses of native seabirds and marine mammals. Once in Dakhla, guests will ride in 4x4s and venture into a Sahraoui camp, which overlooks the Laguna and a beautiful white sand dune.

Continuing her journey to Spain, Silver Explorer visits Gran Canaria and La Gomera in the Canary Islands. The Canaries boast near perfect year-round temperatures, where guests can witness virtually untouched wilderness, dramatic landscapes and one of the oldest laurel forests worldwide – a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site.

Silver Explorer then sails to the Portuguese archipelago of Madeira, before travelling to Morocco. Guests are whisked away to Marrakech for an evening of traditional Arabian cuisine and entertainment, before travelling to Casablanca, known as the 'millionaire's playground'.

Venturing on to the British Overseas Territory of Gibraltar, guests discover 'The Rock', Gibraltar's most iconic attraction, resting 426m above sea level and claiming an unparalleled view of the Mediterranean, the Atlantic, Europe and Africa.

Silver Explorer's final ports of call include, Cadiz in Spain, known for its expansive vineyards, cotton fields and labyrinth of narrow European streets and, Portimao in Portugal, where guests can join an inland excursion through the picturesque countryside. Silver Explorer concludes her journey in Lisbon, with guests disembarking on 7 May 2015.
