Departing Honiara (Solomon Islands) on 20 October 2014, Silver Discoverer will voyage through the Solomon Islands, exploring first-class diving and snorkeling spots, and extraordinary barrier reefs, including Lumalihe Island and Kennedy Island. Silver Discoverer will then sail to Papua New Guinea, where guests will enjoy an overnight stay in Rabaul, a surreal and mysterious town that was largely destroyed in 1994 by a volcanic eruption and now features some of the world’s best diving spots.
Silver Discoverer will then continue her journey through Papua New Guinea, stopping at beautiful islands, lakes and archipelagos along the way, including Tatau Island, Murik Lakes, Tami Islands and Madang. After visiting Alotau, a town nestled in the hillsides of Milne Bay, Silver Discoverer will begin her journey to Australia, where guests will disembark in Cairns on 3 November, 2014.
As part of a series of exclusive Silversea Expedition Wellness Cruises, this itinerary includes: a complimentary Spa package to relax the body and mind; nutritional counselling from health experts; a range of physical activities, such as yoga and AquaGym; and meditation techniques to help reduce stress, and improve energy and creativity.
