Adventure World, the Australian company founded in 1979 by industry veteran Peter Newsom that was bought by NRMA Travel in 2007, has launched a brochure that showcases small ship and expedition cruises around the world.
‘Cruise Adventures’ includes products from American Safari Cruises and InnerSea Discoveries that Adventure World now represents in Australia following the demise of Cruise West which it represented for more than 30 years.
‘Cruise Adventures is our selection of the very best small-scale adventure voyaging has to offer,’ Adventure World’s head of product and marketing, Neil Rodgers, said.
To mark the launch of ‘Cruise Adventures’ there are special fares from the Amazon to the Antarctic.
They include a three-night Amazon River cruise from Manaus aboard the classic three-masted sailing ship Desafio for from A$872 per person twin-share and a night’s accommodation in Ushuaia before a nine-night round voyage to the South Shetland Islands and Antarctic Peninsula aboard the 120-passenger Expedition for from A$8,189.
The ‘Cruise Adventures’ collection has a wide range of Nile, Mekong, Yangtze and Ayeyarwady River products, as well as everything from voyages to the Galapagos Islands to sailing holidays around Croatia.
